As you would know if you were a client of ours that the first thing to do when you get to the gym is a general warm up for about 5 minutes. Most people use the treadmill or the elliptical trainer. Then we perform a perfunctory stretch and go right into our abdominal routine followed by the movement prep routine this ensures your body is loose enough to work well, but not so loose that it looses strength.
